Musky Fest

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

Musky Fest is this weekend in Hayward WI and I hope you all will make it for this years celebration of Hayward’s good fishing. The forecast looks good with temps around 80 degrees all weekend. I saw the carnival rides are already setting up and on Thursday main street should close down and vendors will start arriving. There will be fishing contest, live music, arts and crafts, good food and much more. My friends and I plan on having a fishing tournament of our own this weekend, we will have three boats and about 7 or 8 people on the Chippewa flowage on Friday and Saturday. It will be a bass fishing contest judged on length of fish caught, boat against boat. We have a cabin rented on the flowage so it should be a fun time. I will try to post the pictures here next week. Have a great weekend everyone and see you at Hayward

Sheds, Sheds, Sheds

Thursday, June 5th, 2008

I made three shed delivery’s yesterday, two here in Hayward and one to Trego WI. The nice thing about our sheds is with the treated 4×4’s that we build them on they can be placed right on the ground which was the case with all three of them yesterday. if your planning on adding a shed to your back yard here is all you need.  1). a Fairly level spot that is accessible by a large pickup truck. ( we can level the shed up to 6 or 8 inches if needed.)   2) an idea of what size you want and what color paint and shingles. From there we take care of the rest. a lot of people don’t realize that we deliver these sheds fully assembled and there is no need for assembly by the home owner. you can stop by our outdoor show room in Hayward WI or go to our website at www.northwoodoutdoor.com

Hayward WI

Sunday, June 1st, 2008

Just thought I’d tell everyone what’s happening at Hayward. The weather is slowly warming up and it seems that the lakes are seeing real good boat traffic on the nice days. Coming up on June 19-22 we have the musky fest in town, and on the same weekend the dairy breakfast is on saturday mourning. All of the resorts that I talked to said they are nearly full for the summer so be sure to call ahead and make reservations. Town seems to be filling up every weekend which is a good sign that summer has come. As a local business owner I would like to thank everyone who makes Hayward WI there vacation destination.
